First Aid / CPR Classes

Again this year (2023-2024) we will be using a blended format to teach  Medic 1st Aid/CPR class for adult, child, and infant. This class will be offered to all district employees.  Some positions require a current Medic First Aid/CPR certification. If you are not sure if your job requires this certification or if it has expired, please contact Laura Kronewitter in Human Resources at 503-554-5014 or [email protected].

Step 1. Sign up at: Google Docs

Step 2.  Watch videos at home from the link that will be sent to you

Step 3. Come to the DO at the time and date you signed up to practice and receive your certification.

You will receive an email with a link to the videos about 2 weeks before your practice/certification day.   You will watch the videos at home. Next, you will then come into our socially distant, well sanitized classroom and practice your skills.  You will also have a chance to practice with the AED.  After you attend the in-person portion you will receive a digital copy of your CPR card in an email.  If you need a paper copy of your card the cost is $5.00 and MUST be paid before we send you the link.

Cost:

Employees receiving digital card: Free

Employees receiving paper card: $5.00

Non-employees cost: $16.00 (includes paper card)

Practice and Certification Days: See the attached flyer for dates and times.
