Transportation & Bus Routes

First Student provides school bus transportation for eligible students residing within the Newberg-Dundee School District boundaries.

Eligibility Guidelines:

  • Elementary Students: Eligible if living beyond a 1-mile radius from their assigned school.
  • Secondary Students: Eligible if living beyond a 1.5-mile radius from their assigned school.

Special Services & Weather Policies

  • Courtesy Transportation: Ineligible riders may request busing if seating permits on existing routes. Complete an Alternate Busing Transportation Request Form above and turn it in to your school office. Processing takes up to 2 weeks.
  • Snow & Inclement Weather Routes: Modified weather routes apply primarily to Parrett Mountain, Bald Peak, and the Red Hills during dangerous road conditions.
  • Special Needs Transportation: Bus drivers contact parents directly prior to the start of the school year to arrange individual accommodations.
  • Bus Safety Rules: All buses feature video security cameras. Assigned seating may be implemented to support student safety.
