Lead in Drinking Water

All district buildings were tested for lead in taps used for drinking or food preparation in 2016. The district followed the Environmental Protection Agency's 3 T's Revised Technical Guidance to ensure that samples were collected properly and from the correct places. Any taps with more than 20 parts per billion of lead have been shut off, pending mitigation and re-testing. Results of the testing are available below. Alexin Analytical Labs, an Oregon Health Authority-accredited lab, has done all the testing.

The district will follow state guidelines to:
  • Identify sources of lead (if any)
  • Stop access
  • Communicate
  • Mitigate and correct
