The Seventh Annual NHS Boosters Golf Tournament, a fundraiser, will be held on Sunday, Aug. 18 at Chehalem Glenn Golf Course, 4501 E Fernwood Road, Newberg.
The event begins at 9 a.m., and lunch will be held when the golfers return. Look for the Cornhole Tournament, skill prizes, a 50-50 raffle, and music! A helicopter ball drop (when a ton of balls are dropped and the one nearest the hole wins) will take place at 2 p.m. The raffle and prizes will be awarded at 3 p.m.
Learn more via this link to the tournament web pages (also available in the QR code in the flyer to the right). The cost to golf is $125, and if you want to bring a friend who doesn't golf, they would only pay $20 for lunch. The other costs and activities are laid out on the tournament web pages.
The NHS Boosters is an organization made up of supporters, often parents, and the group fundraises for Newberg High School, creating more opportunities than would otherwise be possible in student activities. They are not an affiliate of the School District.
