The Newberg Old-Fashioned Festival, held from July 25 to 28 at sites including Memorial Park and Renne Field, offers a parade, musical events, carnival rides, and our very own royal court.
The court's Queen is Kyndall McCollum, a rising senior at Newberg High. The court's Princess is Elise Steffen, also a rising senior at NHS.
Both students attended Chehalem Middle School. McCollum went to Dundee, and Steffen went to Crater. They're both active in Associated Student Body (leadership), the Cheer and Golf Teams, and Steffen also is the Captain of the Ski Team.
