Dear Newberg-Dundee Families, Staff, and Community:
We have set dates for our listening sessions and suggestions regarding the district budget. Please join us if you are able to do so. You can get current information, speak directly to Board or Budget Committee members, and/or leave written anonymous feedback.
Listening sessions will be held in the Commons at Newberg High School as follows:
- Thursday, June 27, 2024: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Monday, July 1, 2024: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
We are continuing to build the Questions and Answers (Q&A) page for our website and to gather budget strategy ideas.
Please share your budget questions and ideas to reduce expenditures and save funds. You may email us at: [email protected].
About the Feedback:
- Staff and community members will have their queries and ideas copied and pasted into Google Docs without names. Your identity will remain confidential.
- The Google Docs will have these categories: Questions, Savings, Reductions, and Donations/Fundraising/Volunteer Support.
- Your email goes to the Communications Department.
- Once we organize feedback into categories, we will determine key themes and ideas to guide our strategy.
- We will present the feedback to the Board of Directors, Budget Committee, and Citizen Financial Advisory Committee.
- Feedback will then be included in meeting documents for individuals planning our strategy to increase savings, make tactical reductions, and grow revenue.
