Congratulations are in order! Our final Spotlight of the year and our winner for the month of June is Kristine Sinclair. Spotlight is an honor for employees for which a colleague or boss's nomination is required.
Joan Austin Assistant Principal Lacey McNary said: "Kristine is one of the LRC teachers at Joan Austin. Mrs. Sinclair is new to Joan Austin this year but has not wasted any time getting to know our students, families, and staff. Kristine is highly knowledgeable in the field of Special Education and has shown steady leadership by overseeing JA's Student Study Team (SST) this year. Mrs. Sinclair is a persistent advocate for the diverse needs of all JA students. Joan Austin staff feel comfortable coming to Kristine with their questions or concerns as she is a great problem-solving partner. Kristine's dry humor keeps us smiling, which is a bonus!"
