The time has flown by! I cannot believe that graduation is around the corner and I will be saying goodbye to Newberg Nation. Over the last four years of being a student at Newberg High School, I have learned many valuable lessons, made numerous friends, created memories, and significantly grown as an individual. It is important to reflect on the journey that has helped me become the person I am today. Much gratitude is due to numerous people that supported me along the way.
First and foremost, I want to express extreme gratitude for my teachers. Many have gone above and beyond not only being educators, but also mentors, guides, and inspirations. They acted as role models, demonstrating core values such as kindness, respect, and perseverance. Additionally, they challenged me to push myself to become better, provided support when I needed it, and encouraged me to explore my passions. The teachers I have had over the years have created a supportive learning environment where students are able to express themselves and take risks. My teachers have played a significant role in my life that has made an impact that extends far beyond the classroom.
My peers have been amazing companions throughout high school. We have supported one another through triumphs and setbacks, navigated the highs and lows of adolescence, and forged lifelong friendships that I will cherish forever. A lot of laughter has also been part of the adventure. As we part ways to pursue our individual paths, I will carry the memories we have made and the lessons we have learned. Thank you for creating an unforgettable high school experience.
I owe the most thanks to my parents. They have continuously supported me throughout high school and continue to support me as I pursue college and beyond. Additionally, the lessons they have taught me will stay with me forever. Their unconditional love, encouragement, and sacrifices have made my success possible. I am endlessly thankful for their support.
As high school comes to an end and we begin a new chapter of our lives, I will carry with me the lessons learned, the friendships forged, and the memories created. Though our futures may lead us down different paths, we will always have our experience at Newberg Nation in common. I know that we all will move forward in life and jump in head first with optimism, determination, and ambition. Thank you Newberg Nation for shaping me into the person I am today. I cannot wait for the next chapter.
