Larry Hampton, Bond Manager
A few of your main daily tasks:
- Checking on/overseeing current construction projects (especially Dundee)
- Attending meetings to plan for future projects and to correct any deficiencies from completed projects
- Meeting contractors at various sites to prepare for coming work
Your main goal: Continue to provide facilities that will meet the educational and safety needs of the District for years to come. I am proud that we have been able to make some huge facility strides through the bond work.
Experience:
- 40 years in education — 32 in Newberg. I have been a teacher, an elementary, middle, and high school administrator, and have overseen Operations and Safety for the District
- I spent 9 years as the Coordinator of Operations and Safety, and for a year and a half was also the Bond Manager. At the end of September, I retired from the Operations role, and am working less than full-time with the Bond projects through September of 2024.

Skills/Hobbies: I love reading and woodworking, as well as spending time with family and friends.
Family: Married to Paula for 38 years as of this Saturday. We have three adult children who are all working to make the world a better place.
