The City of Newberg invites preschoolers and K-5 students to name the new electric street sweeper.
The naming contest will run from March 23 to April 23, and you can cast your child’s vote at a drop box in the Newberg Public Library, 503 E. Hancock St. Only Newberg residents can vote in the first round, but there is a second round for everyone!
A panel will choose a few top names, which the City will put to a community vote on social media from May 1 to 21. Everyone who works in, lives in, or loves Newberg is welcome to vote! The winning name will be unveiled at Public Works Day in June and displayed on a vinyl wrap covering the new street sweeper.
