Crater Elementary Teachers Jen Underhill and Maureen Soumokil nominated First-Grade Teacher Jennie Thorsell.
Underhill and Soumokil said Thorsell “is an exemplary teacher and great role model to all that know her. We are incredibly fortunate to have her as our grade-level teammate and friend. Jennie is a dedicated and hardworking teacher who advocates for each of her students and acquires the support that they may need. She is extremely organized and focused on continuously learning and developing best practices in her classroom. Her willingness to collaborate at all times of the day and share resources with us shows her generosity and willingness to help others. We are lucky to work with Jennie and we want to shine the spotlight on this wonderful teacher!
