A couple of your main daily tasks:
- Ensuring students feel safe at school and are able to be their best selves.
- Supporting teachers to be able to do their best work with our students.
One long-term project: Working with our teachers, so they have the tools necessary to develop our students into readers.
Your main goal: To provide opportunities for students to learn and grow and be their best selves so they can have choices in the future.
Experience:
- This is my 22nd year in education.
- Most recently coming from Beaverton School District where I worked as a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) supporting students and teachers as a Student Success Coach.
- I have taught in the Beaverton School District, and, prior to that, Gresham-Barlow School District. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, and K-5 ELD, and I have worked as an Instructional Coach and School Improvement Coach.

Family: My husband, Andrew, and I have two boys, Jude (8) and Micah (12).
Hobbies: I love watching my kids play sports. My oldest plays soccer and basketball, and my youngest plays football, basketball, and baseball. They keep us busy on the weekend! I also love walking. I used to be a runner and have transitioned to walking more, and I am learning to love it!
