Title: Human Resources Specialist for Licensed and Administrative Employees
Your main daily tasks:
- Supporting licensed and administrative employees with questions about wages, licensure, evaluations, and continuing education credits
- Handling hiring and recruiting for licensed and administrative employees
- Providing onboarding support for new licensed and administrative employees
Experience:
- 1 ½ years in current role
- She previously served as the Legal Assistant to General Counsel for The Methodist Hospital and Healthcare System in Houston, Texas, and Former Legal Assistant to a Private Practitioner in Texas
- She was also a Special Education Teacher for Fourth Grade and for Fifth Grade in Houston and Austin, Texas
Education:
- University of Houston-Clear Lake, Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies with a Teaching Certification
- University of St. Thomas (Texas), attended master’s classes in Special Education
Hobbies/Skills: She loves spending time with her family and dogs as well as reading, being outdoors, and camping.
Family: She and her husband, Koby, have four children, one who is a nurse, two Newberg High School graduates, and a junior at NHS. Amanda, 34; Kaylee, 22; Audrey, 19; and Tyler, 16.

- Handling hiring and recruiting for classified and confidential employees

Experience:
- Over 10 years experience in the insurance field as an insurance agent.
- 15 years in customer service in various industries, with several years of managerial experience
Hobbies/Skills: She likes outdoor activities, such as camping and hiking as well as watching her youngest child play college baseball and watching any live sporting events, baseball, basketball, and football.
Family: She and her husband, Marc, have two children, Brenden, 27, and Connor, 21, both Newberg High School graduates.
Name: Laura Kronewitter
Title: Human Resources and Payroll Assistant
Your main daily tasks:
- HR: Approving and processing tuition reimbursement applications
- HR: Helping with new employee onboarding
- Payroll: Reviewing timesheets before sending them to payroll
Experience:
- 6 months in her current role
- 1 year at the front desk of the District Office
- 22 years in medical reception with Providence
Hobbies/Skills: She loves spending time with her family, reading, tinkering with her brand-new metal detector, and traveling.
Family: She and her husband, Troy, have two children, Violet, 18, an Edwards Elementary School employee; and Hazel, 17, a senior at Newberg High School; and three dogs, Karl, Tucker, and Bolt.
