Tracy Lozada
Title: Coordinator of Operations
Introduction: Welcome, Tracy Lozada! This summer, Larry Hampton retired as the Coordinator of Operations and Safety; however, he will continue working on bond projects until Dundee Elementary is completed. Lozada is now the Coordinator of Operations in Facilities. Brett Royer is the Coordinator of Safety, Custodial Supervisor, and Transportation.
Her main daily tasks:
- For Facilities, I manage the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system.
- I also lead our School District’s work on alarm systems, electrical systems, elevators, wet/dry sprinkler systems, plumbing, keys, carpentry, grounds work, and anything related to facilities.
Your main goal: The goal is to manage and maintain our systems so they run smoothly all year. I want our buildings to run as efficiently as possible and to be as clean as possible.
Experience: I started in my current role on Sept. 5. I have worked in the Facilities Department and have been at the Physical Plant for 16 years in an assistant role for Newberg-Dundee Public Schools. The Physical Plant is where maintenance, courier, and grounds staff are housed and where School District equipment and vehicles are stored. I worked in banking and for a medical office for a total of 25 years before coming to Newberg-Dundee Public Schools.
Advice to Take the Next Step in Your Career: If you’re patient and set your mind to it, I think that you can do anything.

Skills/Hobbies: I love playing golf, and I am also a huge football fan. Go Ducks!
Family: Her son, Jake, graduated from Newberg High School in 2013 and now runs his own renovation business with his father. Jake married Kindred Robertson, another NHS graduate, this past July, and the couple currently live in Newberg.
