The Newberg-Dundee School District and Newberg-Dundee Police Department are aware of some social media chatter about threatened violence at tonight’s Newberg High School football game. The School District, including our School Resource Officers, has investigated and does not believe this to be anything more than rumors. Out of an abundance of caution, NDPD has assigned additional resources to be at the game and those believed to have been involved cannot attend. The community is, of course, welcome to attend. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
