Families Are Ready to SAIL This Week!

Newberg-Dundee Public School's Support Advocacy for Independence in Life (SAIL) program will hold classes for its new students starting on Thursday, Sept. 7. All students will participate in classes on Friday, Sept. 8.

The hours for SAIL are the same as for Newberg High School, 8:15 a.m. to 3:05 p.m. Until the new bond-supported home for SAIL can be completed on Sixth Street later this school year, students will be housed on the first floor of the District Office, 714 E. Sixth St., Newberg, OR 97132.

SAIL is for students, ages 18 to 21, who experience disability and are seeking to gain more life skills to become more independent. The contact person for SAIL is Teacher and Case Manager Geoffrey Tippetts: [email protected]
